Mirari Kitchens - the product of international thinking

Mirari hot things up at Grand Designs Live

In June, Mirari took part in the hugely successful Grand Designs Live event.

At this exciting new home design exhibition, 40,000 visitors enjoyed a wide range of exhibitions and events, including everything from auctions to labyrinths.

Mirari teamed up with John Burton Race, who owns the Michelin-starred restaurant The New Angel in Dartmouth, to take part in an event featuring kitchen room-sets designed by top chefs. His brief was to design a kitchen that could meet the demands of a hard-working, professional chef whilst keeping a strong stylistic influence.

John’s choice of brand new gloss kitchen no. 28 in vibrant Lastratec Orange showed his passion for colour and fun, balanced by the functionality of brushed steel surfaces and glass doors. He commented on the versatility of Mirari’s mix and match colours and materials saying, “I like the fusion of different European design traditions, and the functionality more than matches up to its good looks – making it a serious cook’s kitchen as well as a strong interior design statement.
