Mirari at Kitchen Showcase 2006
To support the launch of its new Essentials range at Kitchen Showcase 2006 Mirari has teamed up with AEG-Electrolux and Blanco in order to create a kitchen that combines good looks with complete functionality.
The cooking area
The Compact Range Oven and Microwave
The cooking area features a multi-function fan, grill and steam oven and a duo microwave and grill from AEG-Electrolux's small but beautiful range of Compact appliances. With high quality stainless steel fronts, the range is small enough to fit into a 38 centimetre aperture, but is big on performance and quality.
Fully Integrated Coffee Machine
AEG-Electrolux’s fully integrated coffee maker PE9038 is designed to make coffee making easy with its electronic touch controls, pre-programmed coffee selection and LED display. It incorporates a grinder for a supply of freshly ground beans or it can take pre-ground coffee or individual coffee ‘pods’ if preferred.
Integrated Combi Fridge Freezer , A rated for Energy Efficiency
The fridge freezer is for those who need large fridge capacity (205 litres) and less freezer space (70 litres). AEG-Electrolux's fridge freezer has Bacterial Protection and Humidity controls to optimise safe storage of different types of salads/vegetable. An LED display provides reassurance that the optimum temperature is being maintained. A rated for energy, the well designed interior ensures best utilisation of space.
Hob and Hood
A unique polygon ceramic hob from AEG-Electrolux, with multi-purpose and triple zones, combines with its 100 centimetre professional, stainless steel chimney hood to complete the cooking area.
The Island Unit
The bespoke island unit is a collaboration of manufacture and design between Mirari and Blanco. A stunning Steelart centrepiece was the natural choice to complement the dark oak finish and linear design of the Mirari Essentials furniture. The island unit - a focal point of the kitchen, inspired by Blanco's own Steelart Solitaire prototype - has been produced specifically for the exhibition.
The unit incorporates an eating area and a spacious, hygienic food preparation area with two handmade Blancozerox undermounted sinks, featuring the distinctive zero-radius square bowl and striking X-patterned base. The sinks are perfectly complemented by the stylishly angular Blancoplaza tap.
